this project was born out of the need I felt to have more references of different life experiences, trajectories and approaches to musical practice and/or artistic creation
OUR STORIES is a series of conversations with musicians (instrumentalists, producers, DJs, composers) and music industry professionals (managers, bookers, programmers)
and after many calls and coffees in our private spaces
we decided to go public
through the questions, the guests are invited to share insights into their creative processes, artistic practices, views on the industry, and personal experiences. these dialogues allow the audience to get an insight on the mechanics of the music industry, its functionings and dysfunctionings, how it reproduces larger societal problems; while fostering reflection on the broader meaning of music and the musician's role
